Who is Elric Erekose?

Age: 367 month old
Country of Origin: Australia. Born in Melbourne, but now live in Tasmania
Occupation: Teaching Student (Design and IT) - 6mths off graduation
Interests: Design, Photography (art in general) Music, kids...anything that gives the
brain a good work-over, or inspires my sense of creativity.

Although have long been a user of various graphics applications, and always having had a
huge creative streak, it is only over the last year or two that I have taken the risk in putting
my work out in the public domain...I still get a shock at the support much of my work
seems to receive, although it has given me the confidence to increasingly try new things and to try and push more limits that are traditionally imposed on design.

As someone who enjoys teaching design as much as practicing it myself, my aim is to help kids both see the world through a variety of lenses, as well as to see that one doesn't have to be either a gamer or a geek to enjoy working with computers...that the computer can be a powerful tool for creativity. I also help to encourage my students to take risks, both in their work and in their lives in general
